The 26th Wisconsin Infantry at Old World Wisconsin

The 26th Wisconsin Infantry had their reenactment at Old Wisconsin in Eagle, Wisconsin. The date was September 5th and 6th, 1998. Enlistment was the theme. The 26th Wisconsin reenactment was done in the German dialect, and performed well by the 3rd Wisconsin, 33rd Wisconsin, and some reenactors from Iowa and Illinois. Civil War Battles at Greenbush, Wisconsin

In the later part of September each year, reenactors from all over come to participate. Union and Confederate soldiers set up camp and present historic scenarios such as rifle and cannon-firing demonstrations.

Mid June, the 33rd Wisconsin Infantry Regiment (and other reenactors) would reenact a Minnesota regiment at Fort Snelling . Fort Snelling is located in St. Paul, Minnesota.
