Sir:

        This is to Certify that Julius Luittinger, Private of Co. "C", 26th Wis. Vol. Is still in the service of the United States, being erroneously reported killed in action, at Chancellorsville, Va., may 2d., 1863. He is at this time a paroled prisoner at Camp Parole, Alexandria. He was mustered into service of the U. States as the 17th day of September, 1862.
