This is to certify that:
Henry Baumgarten of the City of Milwaukee (Wis.) has enlisted in Comp. K of the 26th Reg. Wis. Vol. Infantry on the 21st August, 1862, that he served his company since that time and still is a member of the same, also that he has a family dependent upon him for support consisting in his aged parents.
