Your circular date Aug.
11th in regard to Private Frank Kwabil of Company D 26th Regt. Inf. Wis.
Vol., has come to hand, I herewith give you all the information about said
soldier. Private Frank Kwabil has been absent from the Company since May
2nd, 1863 on account of sickness, and I have since received notice from
the War Dept., Washington, DC, that said soldier has been transferred to
the Veterans Reserve Corps, date March 31st, 1864.
