Sir:
Nicholas Kolugen, Sir,
writes to me that his son of same name is reported missing since July 1863
in your office. He was taken prisoner at Gettysburg but has been exchanged,
is now, and has been during the whole campaign on duty with the regiment.
He belongs to Company C. The adjutant tells me that he has reported him
as gained from missing on monthly return.
Very Respectfully
Your Obt.. Servt.
